Update 1/18/2010: Purchased four, of those four one burned out within a week. Others seem to be okay. May be the lightbulb may be the fixture. I’ll keep this updated.
Original Review: These are nice bright lights that are much smaller than I thought (but that’s a buying error not a problem with the product). They are nice light bulbs, at best two inches across, but provide a lot of very bright white light.
Update (5/20/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

received range hood with no lights!!
I live in a very rural area!! Bought a rangehood and it accidentially came with no filters or lights. Seller knocked the price down because of this and told me to shop locally for the missing items. WELL…not easily done in a town of 1,500 people!! Thank goodness for the “computer” and places like Amazon!! I had what I needed ordered in minutes and on the way right to my door!!! With something like the halogen lites I had to be sure to get the right ones (since my rangehood came with no instructions either!!)
Oh, Hey, was this a review for the lites or for Amazon…guess I got carried away!!

Great replacement for standard halogen GU10
6 of the bulbs in our track lights burnt out after 2 years. We went to Home Depot to look for replacements and they have the standard GE ones 6 for $25.00. The life was 2000 hours only. These are rated for 3500 hours and cost less than Home Depot. These are also a little brighter and just a little whiter. They are not LED white which is fine by me. I like the warmer color.
