OK if you get it on sale
Paid fifteen dollars for this level and at that price point it is OK. The vials are hot-melt glued in place and are accurate only in the one plane it was calibrated for. The laser on/off switch is lame… you twist the battery cap 90 degrees to make/break contact with the batteries… the indent is small so it’s possible the laser will turn on accidentally. The level is relatively heavy (11 oz. w/ batteries)… dropping it could chip tile or ding wood.
Update (5/20/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

Good Level
Very nice level and the laser is a nice touch. I wouldn’t spend a ton of money on it as in the end it is a torpedo level but it is a nice little tool.

The level I received is not true.
I spent several man days using this tool in the installation of a staircase. I discovered after it was complete that at least one of the planes is not true. It was at least 5 degrees off!! I spent much time and material reworking the staircase after I discovered the defect. I confirmed the defect by comparing the performance of this level with several other levels that I have used over the years, once I suspected it wasn’t true.
